The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), held on 28 March 2026, while taking strict measures against technical failures and exam fraud.

According to the Board, 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exam, with 152,586 successfully completing the test across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. However, more than 20 centres have been delisted due to technical glitches, highlighting JAMB’s commitment to maintaining high examination standards.

Candidates can check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number registered for the 2026 UTME. The Board also issued stern warnings against fraudulent claims on social media, particularly on WhatsApp, promising cancellation of registration and withholding of results for violators.

JAMB further confirmed that the main 2026 UTME will commence on Thursday, 16 April 2026. Officials emphasized that ongoing reforms, including strict CBT centre supervision and digital monitoring, are part of broader efforts to ensure credibility, transparency, and integrity in Nigeria’s examination system.

The mock results and enforcement measures are seen as critical steps in safeguarding the UTME process and protecting candidates from technical and fraudulent disruptions ahead of the official examinations.
