APC’s Napoleon Ukalikpe commends voters and INEC for peaceful and orderly conduct of Ahoada East II bye-election in Rivers State, highlighting smooth accreditation and security arrangements.

The Napoleon Ukalikpe, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ahoada East Constituency II bye-election, has commended voters for turning out in impressive numbers and praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the orderly conduct of Saturday’s election.

Speaking shortly after casting his vote at Ogbelle Town, Unit 1, Ward 9, Ukalikpe described the voting process as “smooth and orderly,” noting the effective deployment of security personnel across the constituency that contributed to a peaceful atmosphere. He said his personal accreditation on the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System was seamless, with his name correctly displayed in all systems, allowing him to cast his ballot without any difficulties.

“I am very happy with the turnout. There is security everywhere and so far there have been no disturbances,” Ukalikpe stated. “I have visited some other units, and I am impressed with what is going on. Everything has gone peacefully.”

The APC candidate expressed confidence in the election’s outcome while commending President Bola Tinubu and INEC for ensuring a smooth voting process. He urged Nigerians to appreciate the transparency and efficiency demonstrated in the exercise, saying the process reflected positively on the electoral system.

Ukalikpe’s remarks highlight the broader message from Rivers State, where observers have also reported peaceful voting and smooth accreditation in several polling units despite high voter expectations. The candidate expressed optimism that the orderly conduct would translate into a successful and credible election result for the constituency.
