Tinubu at 74: Lawan, Barau, Adeola Praise Leadership

Prominent lawmakers in the National Assembly have paid glowing tributes to President Bola Tinubu as he marked his 74th birthday, applauding his leadership style and commitment to national development.

Among those who sent goodwill messages were former Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Solomon Adeola.

In separate statements, the lawmakers commended the President for implementing reforms they said are already impacting governance, economic stability, and infrastructure growth.

Lawan described Tinubu’s political journey as one marked by resilience and dedication to democratic ideals, recalling his role in Nigeria’s pro-democracy struggle. He noted that the President’s current policies reflect a bold approach to addressing longstanding structural challenges in the economy.

Barau, on his part, expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, stating that ongoing reforms would further reposition the country for sustainable growth. He also projected continued political support for the President ahead of future elections.

Similarly, Adeola praised Tinubu’s influence on Nigeria’s political and economic landscape, describing him as a leader whose decisions have inspired many and contributed to national progress.

The lawmakers agreed that Tinubu’s administration is laying a foundation for long-term development, with policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens and strengthening key sectors of the economy.

They wished the President continued strength and success as he steers the affairs of the nation.
